Guru’s Aventus Rods

Considering the word ‘Guru’ to most anglers means X-Safe Method feeders and ready tied rigs when they released a rod it came as a pleasant surprise.

 

The rod is on the pricier side of things and therefore wont suit everyone’s budget however some would say that those who do splash out are in for a treat.

The range is made up of six rods: 10ft and 11ft feeder, 11ft and 12ft Float and 12ft and 13 ft distance feeders.

 

All of the rods exude quality, the handles are longer than average, to sustain casting, with an innovative addition of finger grips. Another unique asset to the rods is the Zero 90 technology, which is the method of double layering carbon fibres in different orientations ranging from 0-90 degrees. The Zero 90 technology allows for control over the deformation of the cylindrical shape of the rod and prevents it, giving more power and precision when casting. The rods are perfect for all kinds of fishing, whether it be a delicate style of fishing for skimmers or method feeder for carp.

 

UK Champ and Guru product developer Pemb Wrighting, said: “We always said we would never create a range of rods unless we felt they were the best on the market. It’s been two years since we first started working on them, and we are confident the final result will live up to all the hype.”
